About

Survive the round, collect the coins, then spend them between rounds: evolve your weapon into the next age, or sharpen the one you've got. History moves on every three rounds whether you're ready or not, and it brings a boss at the end of each age. Don't get left in the Stone Age.

Controls

WASD moves; aim with the mouse and hold the button to fire, or fire with the arrow keys
Space, Shift or right-click dashes, and you can't be hit mid-dash
Power-ups wait on the floor and bank when you grab them: E spends the oldest, 1 to 3 pick one
Abilities bought in the shop: Q fires Shockwave, C Time warp; Seeker missiles fire themselves
P or Esc pauses, F goes full screen, T toggles auto-fire
Between rounds, number keys buy and Enter starts the next round

Left pad moves, right pad aims and fires; push it further to aim
Dash sits between the pads, and you can't be hit mid-dash
Banked power-ups are the three buttons above the pads, and bought abilities get buttons too
Or hold a finger on the arena to fire toward it
Full screen gives the arena the whole screen; Pause is beside it
